Playing Catch Up!

Happy New Year!! πŸ™‚ How was everyone’s New Year’s Eve? Ours was good, but I realized I haven’t written in here in a while. Which is a shame, because I found two new recipes I recently tried, one for homemade bread and one for a bruschetta chicken bake. If anyone would like either recipe, please comment below or contact me via Twitter or Facebook and I’ll write a new blog post about them πŸ™‚

As for this post, well, imagine yourself as an old cranky woman in the nursing home. Your children come to see you rarely and you feel nobody understands you.

This woman in “Things that Don’t Happen Everyday,” tells the story about her life. Abandoned by her alcoholic mother as a child. Dropped off with her sister on her aunt and uncles doorstep, by her crazy step father. Watching her best friend’s life disintegrated by drugs. Meeting and marrying her husband and starting a family.

This lady has went through it all. Join this lady’s sarcastic and crazy outlook on life! πŸ™‚ This novella was written several years ago.

As for my recent accomplishments, I’m once again reading and also working on two books. One is my new book and the other is the final edits of my novel “Father’s Secret Suitcase”! I’m halfway done before I send it to my critique partner.

And for now on, I’m going to put in a new goodbye greeting at the end of each blog post! πŸ™‚

So…. Tally ho!
